Though I’m not a big meat eater, I’m certainly not a vegetarian. But, I’m always on the
look out for meatless meal options – and I’m not a big fan of tofu.
I just tried this Coconut Curry marinated Tempeh by Turtle Island Foods – it was was real tasty! Took just a few minutes to brown the slices in a skillet. Six slices have just 130 calories, 3g fat, 13g protein, and 5g dietary fiber!
We enjoyed it with brown rice & beans and plenty of veggies. I’m going to try out the other flavors, too! (I also loved the Sesame Garlic flavor….but the Smoky Maple Bacon didn’t meet my expectations). Why not try tempeh for Meatless Monday?
