So, every couple of weeks I make my own granola, adapted from a simple recipe given to me by a relative years ago. I eat it alone, with milk, or in my yogurt. Give it a try! It’s simple (like everything else I do). Mix together:
- 4 cups quick oats
- 1 cup nuts (I use chopped walnuts, sliced almonds)
- 1/3 c oil
- 1/3 c honey
Of course, you can add wheat germ, seeds, dried fruit, etc. Just mix and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until toasted.
