There is a mound of white foaming stuff growing in my refrigerator and I refused to throw it away. A few weeks ago I started this sourdough starter, and since then I’ve made some great sourdough bread and pancakes. And besides the taste, I also love the fact that sourdough is lower in GI than most other breads, even whole grain.
